===Becoming an Administrator===

To become an administrator, someone with bureaucrat rights must make you one. If a user presents skill and dedication when editing the wiki, they may be scouted by a bureaucrat and get promoted to an admin or moderator level.

===What can administrators not do?===

Administrators are required to follow the same [[Project:Policy|rules and policies]] as everyone else and should never abuse their rights for their own gain; for example, to lock a page on a version they prefer in an editing dispute that isn't vandalism. Administrator powers should be used to help keep the wiki clear of vandalism, spam, and users who make malicious edits, but not for simple disagreements between users acting in [[Project:Assume Good Faith|good faith]]. Ideally an admin shouldn't be considered "in charge"; they are just someone who is trusted to have a few extra buttons to use for the benefit of the Fandom community.

Gender Identities

Gender identity is a person's internal, deeply held sense of their own gender (or lack thereof). Unlike gender expression, gender identity is not visible to others. An individual's gender identity may or may not align with their birth assignment. Most people, whether cisgender or transgender, have a gender identity of male/man/boy or female/woman/girl. For others, their gender identity does not fit neatly into one of those binary terms, such as people who are non-binary or genderqueer.

Sexual Orientations

Sexual orientation, also known as sexuality, refers to a person's sexual attractions (or lack thereof) toward others. It is not defined by sexual activity, which can be independent of a person's orientation. It also is not equivalent to a person's gender. While the most common terms are largely described using the gender binary of male or female, sexuality is more expansive than that.

Romantic Orientations

Romantic orientation is related to a person's romantic attractions or desires, generally expressed in terms of which gender or genders a person is attracted to in relation to the person's own. It differs from one's sexual orientation, which is associated with sexual attractions, and a person's romantic and sexual orientation does not have to be the same. The Split Attraction Model is sometimes used to convey these differences.

Bisexual Flag

Bisexual, or bi, is a sexual orientation encompassing attraction to multiple genders and/or sexes, with various definitions that include:

  • Attraction to both men and women
  • Attraction to two or more sexes or genders
  • Attraction to one's own and at least one other gender or sex
  • Attraction to all sexes or genders
  • Attraction regardless of gender or sex

Some bisexual people experience different kinds of attraction to each gender or sex they are attracted to, or to different ones over time. Bisexuals may feel equally attracted to them or primarily attracted to one or more sex or gender. Bisexuality is also an umbrella term for multiple attractions, the definitions of which overlap. Individuals may have a preference in which specific label they use or draw distinctions between bisexuality and other labels, such as pansexual and omnisexual.

The Bisexual Awareness Week, also known as #BiWeek, is an annual celebration held from September 16–23. It is an extension of Celebrate Bisexuality Day, held annually on September 23.
